General Information
Farms have a way of reminding us of what’s important. An afternoon spent picking apples, sampling doughnuts, cider and enjoying the peace of Riverview Farm and Connecticut River Valley is an ideal way to step back from the rush of modern life and reconnect with family, friends... and even one’s self.
We’ve worked hard to make Riverview Farm safe, comfortable and enjoyable for every member of your family. Here are a few key points to help you plan your visit and enjoy all that Riverview Farm has to offer.
Checking In – Bags & Wagons
When you arrive, feel free to stop by the barn store to see what’s available that day. We post the latest information on a board outside the barn store door. If you’ve arrived and not brought anything to pick with, check in with our counter staff as they have bags available. If you’re after some of our chunky pumpkins, we have wagons you can take into the pumpkin patch to carry your catch!
Easy Orchard Access
Our orchards, raspberries and blueberries are within an easy walk from our parking areas. You can also drive to them if it easier for members of your family, such as little ones or more senior members. The entire farm is handicap accessible for your convenience.
Dogs & Pets
For the safety and health of all who visit our farm, we can no longer accept dogs, even when leashed. So we ask that you respect this request and leave Fido at home. If you cannot part with your pup, please plan to leave them in your vehicle with the windows open - we will be happy to provide cold water, and possibly a snack or two. For those who may be interested, you can meet our pets here.
Friendly Staff
Despite the commonly held belief that New Hampshire farmers are taciturn, cranky and occasionally a bit curmudgeonly, we are fortunate to have a very friendly and approachable staff who look forward to helping you wherever possible. Just look for them in their dark green vests with the Riverview Farm logo.
Parking
We have ample onsite parking, all within easy walking distance to our barn store, pumpkin patch and corn maze.
Kid (and grownup) Safety
We are fortunate to have many guests here each weekend, and it’s natural for everyone to be focused on getting outside and enjoying the open space and fresh air. To make this a safe visit for everyone, we ask that you keep a good eye on traffic, and particularly “weather eye” for the little ones who like to dart about.
