A dinner in the orchard was the perfect way to welcome visiting executives of a local corporation. It was a perfect opportunity to slow down and savor the flavors of the season after a busy day of activities.

Using gomphrena, elderberries and white pumpkin gourds from the farm was an easy way to bring a late summer vibe to the table.
Early evening lighting in late summer allows for pleasing shadows and cooling breezes. The transition from summer to fall was captured nicely using a mix of saturated hues and accented with berries.
The milk cart makes an appearance again as a vignette for seasonal goodies and ice for beverages.
