Dinner in the Orchard

 The very first Dinner at Sunset took place among our apple trees on a warm September evening. Laura payed attention to every detail from the sweet fabric wrapped around the menu to the overflowing basket of blankets provided to take off the late summer evening chill. The flowers were a mix of home grown and farmer’s market flowers, and the apples were of course, from the farm. All of the flatware, plates and heirloom glassware came from family members and were a beautiful compliment to the table decor. Laura printed up these sweet greetings and thoughtfully wrapped them with a home made cloth ribbon. The wool yarn chargers brought another texture to the table and provided another nod to a rustic table setting.

The white dresser anchored the edge of the dinner and held a beautiful display of flowers from the farm as well as the dessert and a pitcher of fresh pressed apple cider.
