Blueberry Biscuits
This recipe comes from Paul's Aunt Jane. They are a Sunday morning staple in the farmhouse and are best eaten with a little pat of butter melted on top.
Aunt Jane's Blueberry Biscuits or Blueberry Binkies
Sift Together:
4 c. flour
8 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 c. sugar
Add:
2/3 c. liquid shortening
2/3 c. milk
2 c. blueberries
Mix ingredients together thoroughly. Pat out into 9"x13" pan and cut or score as you would for biscuits. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake 12/15 min at 425 degrees.
